1099 Independent Contractor – Bath Remodel

Description

We are actively hiring skilled and experienced 1099 Independent Contractors specializing in bath remodeling and need to fill these positions ASAP . As a contractor, you will be responsible for completing high-quality tub-to-shower conversions and other bath remodeling projects. This role requires expertise in general carpentry, plumbing connections, and finishing work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding craftsmanship while representing Expo Home Improvement's standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Project Execution:

• •Perform tub-to-shower conversions and other bath remodeling projects according to company specifications and local building codes.
• •Ensure all installations are completed with high attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• •Safely load, transport, and unload materials to job sites.
• •Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Customer Interaction & Professionalism:

• •Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, keeping them informed throughout the installation process.
• •Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• •Conduct a final walkthrough with customers to ensure satisfaction and demonstrate functionality of completed installations.

Compliance & Safety:

• •Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• •Adhere to manufacturer specifications and company installation standards.
• •Maintain all necessary licensing, insurance, and certifications required for work.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

• •Work closely with the Installation Manager to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
• •Troubleshoot unforeseen situations on-site and communicate effectively with the management team.
• •Provide accurate and timely project updates and required documentation.

• •Own necessary tools for bath remodeling installations.
• •Must provide proof of General Liability insurance.
• •Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Position Type

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. Work assignments are project-based and dependent on business demand.
