2027 Summer News Internship

You will perform general assignment and beat reporting and write in-depth analytical pieces under supervision. You will research and write news stories and features for assigned publication(s), including beat reporting, with supervision.

You need to have:

Three published news clips. Do not submit with your application. We will ask for them during initial screening.

A drive to produce great journalism.

Ability to pitch and write both breaking and enterprise stories.

Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.

Willingness to collaborate with our team of reporters and editors.

At the start of Summer 2027, completed at least three years of an undergraduate program (i.e., a rising senior), just graduated from your college or university, or be enrolled in a graduate journalism program.

Prior experience in journalism, including campus media.

Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
