2nd Shift Industrial Sewer

Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• •Processing of customer orders in timely manner
• •Operator Industrial Sewing Machines unassisted
• •Top quality required of correct description and quantity
• •Keep area safe and clean

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Qualifications:

• •Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• •The ability to read and write in English.
• •A thorough knowledge of Flexaust products and materials.
• •Basic tape reading knowledge and basic mathematical skills as well as ability to use other tools as required.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

• •Working from factory orders, cuts hose to tight tolerances as specified on individual orders, attaches special end finishes per instruction with tolerance and specifications of the work order.
• •Complete factory paperwork per company guidelines.
• •Operate industrial sewing machines
• •Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
• •Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.
• •Remove hose from stock area.
• •Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
• •Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
