 We are currently hiring for an Off-Cycle Intern to join the Frankfurt office for a period of 3 months in Q3 2027

Scope

Houlihan Lokey offers 3 month internship opportunities in their Frankfurt office. The internship is an excellent opportunity to work alongside restructuring bankers in a stimulating environment on various restructuring assignments for clients in various industries.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job training. Throughout your internship, you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year analyst, working on transactions that provide exposure to various financial advisory products and industries, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions. Furthermore you will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, and work as part of a project team.

Qualifications / Requirements

• •You will have a strong academic track record and must be studying for / or achieved a degree in accounting, economics and or finance
• •You will have an understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
• •Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and fluent English (additional language skills are also advantageous).
• •You will have a demonstrated interest in Financial Restructuring
• •Previous internship experience within investment banking and / or related fields
• •International experience is also desirable, but not essential
• •You must be motivated and have the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
