About REVEL

REVEL is an AI robotics company developing physical intelligence for general-purpose humanoid robots. We capture the force, dexterity and intent of human work with our Neural Gambit wearable, and use it to train RAI, the intelligence that powers our robots. REVEL is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with R&D and engineering facilities in Prague and Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This role is on-site with our design team in the Czech Republic.

The Role

REVEL is looking for a 3D Artist to help bring our robots, wearable hardware and product ideas to life through high-quality models, materials and visual assets.

Working primarily in Blender, you will support our industrial design and visual production teams across a varied range of 3D tasks. These include modelling, retopology, UV unwrapping, texturing, material development and preparing assets for rendering and animation.

You will work from a mixture of existing product geometry, sketches and visual references, developing clean, well-organised assets that other team members can readily use and refine. The role requires both a strong visual eye and the technical discipline to produce reliable work within a shared production workflow.

This is a visual production role rather than a mechanical CAD engineering position. An understanding of physical products and CAD workflows is valuable, but the core requirement is strong practical 3D capability.

Responsibilities

Create and refine models of robots, wearable products, components, props and supporting scene assets

Adapt existing CAD or high-resolution geometry for visual production while preserving important product details and proportions

Produce clean topology and carry out retopology where required for shading, animation or efficient scene performance

UV unwrap assets and develop textures, materials and surface finishes

Prepare and organise assets for product renders, animation, exploded views and promotional content

Support lighting, rendering and scene preparation alongside the visual production lead

Maintain clear naming, sensible scene organisation and reusable asset files

Respond to feedback and iterate efficiently with the industrial design and visual production teams

Check models and materials for visual and technical issues before handing them over

Requirements

3+ years of relevant professional experience in 3D modelling or visual production

Strong practical Blender skills, including modelling, retopology, UV unwrapping and material creation

A good eye for proportion, form, surface quality and detail

Ability to work accurately from sketches, references and existing product geometry

Understanding of how topology, geometry density and shading affect the quality and usability of an asset

Ability to deliver organised, editable files that other artists can work with

A collaborative approach, reliable delivery and willingness to learn new techniques

A relevant portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D work, with a clear explanation of your own contribution and examples of the underlying models or workflow, not only finished renders

Bonus qualifications

Animation, rigging or other simulation experience

Houdini experience, particularly procedural modelling, simulations or effects

Experience with KeyShot for product visualisation and rendering

Product lighting, rendering and compositing skills

Experience importing and preparing CAD geometry for visualisation

Familiarity with CAD software such as Plasticity or Autodesk Fusion

Experience with dedicated texturing tools such as Substance 3D Painter

Why REVEL

Work That Ships : We capture how skilled humans work, their force, touch, and judgment, and our robots do the work. You put robots on a paying customer's floor, not in a demo loop

The Team: Colleagues from NVIDIA, SpaceX, and Neura Robotics, and founders you work with directly. No layers, no process between you and the decisions

Your Own Hardware : A top-spec GPU workstation, cluster access, and hands-on time with the robots you're building. Not a software sandbox

Keep Learning : Conference budget for select roles (GTC, CoRL, ICRA), and room to publish and contribute to open source where our IP allows

What we offer

Unlimited Paid Time Off : Real flexibility to take time away when you need it. We trust our people to own their work, their time, and their results

Prague, On-Site : Robots need hands, so we work together in our Prague lab. Moving here? We sponsor your work visa and cover relocation

Lunch, On Us : Complimentary lunch every working day, plus coffee, snacks, and drinks whenever you need a boost

How to apply

Apply with your CV and a concise, relevant portfolio.
