3PL & Rider Operations Manager (They/She/He)

As a 3PL & Rider Operations Manager , you will be handling a team responsible for cooperation with fleet partners and making sure we are always correctly supplied, reporting to the Head of Operations. The couriers are a key player in Glovo’s marketplace, and you will need to ensure the long-term sustainability of the fleet and make our cooperation with fleet partners stronger.

THE JOURNEY

• •Develop long and short term commercial strategies for the fleet partners
• •Craft incentive plans for the fleet partners
• •Ensure rider acquisition processes are capturing the fleet available in the Polish market
• •Analyze daily and weekly operational metrics with a macro view for the long-term success of fleet partners
• •Develop execution plans that will be implemented, ensuring they are delivered by the team
• •Plan the acquisition and incentive budget and oversee the spending
• •Ensure Glovo is the number one app of choice among riders
• •Understand, deep-dive and have complete awareness of the country’s supply situation at all times
• •Get to know the fleet situation of all the regions, be hands-on and active part of the courier support initiatives
• •Define and execute high-impact engagement and retention projects
• •Make data-driven decisions to identify best practices and improve efficiency of the rider funnel

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• •Strong commercial acumen and ability to lead negotiations with external partners
• •Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and drive actions
• •5+ years of experience in high demanding positions (operations, consulting, investment banking, etc.). 
• •Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills
• •Experience managing high-performing teams
• •Strong organizational skills and delegation, ability to prioritize and multitask, work well under pressure, and handle multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• •Endless curiosity - you wonder why problems exist, spend hours figuring out why, and can’t stop thinking about solutions
• •The ability not only to plan an initiative but also to execute it
• •An openness to change.
• •Effective communication skills 
• •Polish and English full professional proficiency
• •Advanced knowledge on Google Sheets, MS Excel and SQL (as a plus)
