Job Description:
- Oversees all department research studies. Manages daily operations. Monitors staff performance. Ensures compliance with regulations. Contributes to budget planning and conducts monthly tracking and monitoring of projected to actual. Contributes to strategic planning. Coordinates research activities. Maintains high standards of quality and efficiency. Supports the overall goals of the department. Develops policies and procedures for biobehavioral research. Identifies new ways to recruit research participants. Manages relationships with internal and external research partners Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently [Required]
- Thorough understanding of the federal regulations and GCP covering the human subjects research process and operations. [Required]
- Strong organization skills, leadership abilities, ability to coach effectively, and function independently using logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. [Required]
- Ability to make and own operational decisions and revise approaches based on outcomes achieved [Required]
- Comprehensive knowledge of research compliance with ability to adhere to AHRI policies and procedures designed to manage risk [Required]
- Ability to do effective staff training and development [Required]
- Ability to work well with others, using tact and diplomacy in verbal and written communication, while demonstrating exceptional teamwork skills. [Required]
- Ability to formulate and adhere to departmental budgets [Required]
- Ability to track recruitment performance and financial performance across studies and to revise approaches based on these analyses [Required]
- Ability to learn and utilize AHRI-selected software for study database development [Required]
- Expertise in Microsoft Office software [Required]
- Education:
- Master's [Required]
- Field of Study:
- in business or healthcare-related discipline.
- Work Experience:
- 2+ experience recruiting into community-based research trials [Preferred]
- 3+ experience in a leadership role in biobehavioral [Required]
- 3+ experience in biobehavioral research [Required]

- Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) [Required]

Pay Range:
- $92,227.20 - $171,537.60
- Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
