Our growing Travel + Hospitality team works on some of the most coveted destinations and award-winning hospitality brands and attractions around the globe. ABOUT THIS ROLE
Orchestra is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Travel + Hospitality team. This role is a great opportunity to build a career in strategic communications while supporting clients across the travel, lifestyle, hospitality and culinary industries. You will assist with day-to-day account management, media relations, research, writing and project coordination while working closely with senior team members on integrated communications campaigns and media placements.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and eager to grow in a fast-paced agency environment while developing strong communications and client service skills.
Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The team is in-office 3 days per week.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
As an Account Coordinator on the Travel + Hospitality team you will…
Implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
Pitch and place media stories across local, regional and national outlets
Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans
Oversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, developing press recaps and participating in crisis communications, as necessary
Manage work streams across multiple accounts in the arts and culture sector
Essential skills:
Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications
Interest in PR specifically within the travel and hospitality space
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
