Accounting Analyst I

• Job Summary
• Performs entry-level accounting analysis across ledger, reconciliation, accounting transactions, reporting, budgeting/forecasting support, and statutory account activity. Works within standardized procedures with basic accounting knowledge and routine problem solving with guidance.

• Job Responsibilities
• Financial Management and Control - Support others by carrying out simple financial monitoring tasks.

Data Collection and Analysis - Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.

Insights and Reporting - Extract simple/automatic data in various forms (graphs, charts, etc.) to include in reports.

Operational Compliance - Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.

Personal Capability Building - Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related course
• •Experience with ERPs (e.g. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft); PC proficient – strong experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced excel skills a plus), Word, PowerPoint; experience with MS Access and Project a plus
• •Logical thinker who constantly thinks of process improvements
• •Good documentation skills
• •Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting; able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• •Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• •Good interpersonal skills; and ability to work with a diverse group of people
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• •Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
