Accounting Services Supervisor

Novinger, Ball, & Zivi, a Knoxville-based Certified Public Accounting Firm, is looking for an Accounting Services Supervisor for their Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) Team. Responsibilities:

Client support and training for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop; includes (but not limited to) accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll set-up and processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, class tracking and journal entries within QuickBooks

Supervise CAAS staff

Review assigned accounts maintained by CAAS staff

Review payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and tangible personal property reports

Assist tax staff with trial balance clean-up work when time permits

Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What you Need to Succeed:

Expert in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

General ledger experience and significant accounting knowledge

Familiar with financial statements in QuickBooks and running reports

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills while being able to prioritize, work efficiently, and meet time budgets

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desire to take initiative and problem-solve

Public accounting and/or previous CAAS experience a plus

Ability to pass CAAS assessment
