Accounting Team Lead

• This role is an opportunity to lead core accounting activities for a US-focused financial services organization while working fully remotely from Brazil.
• You will oversee accrual accounting for loan-related income and expenses and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• The position combines hands-on accounting expertise with team leadership and responsibility for timely, accurate financial reporting.
• You will manage and review the work of two Accounting Analysts while helping maintain a disciplined monthly close process.
• The role also involves evaluating the appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and business events.
• You will work with financial data, reconciliations, reporting processes, and accounting systems in a fast-paced remote environment.
• This position is particularly suited to an experienced accounting professional with strong US GAAP knowledge and leadership capabilities.
