What to expect:

Explore the evolving field of accounting through automation, business intelligence and accounting systems, gaining valuable experience where finance and technology converge. This internship will put you at the forefront of industry innovation, developing skills that are needed in today’s workforce. Additionally, you will learn about the Federal Home Loan Banks’ (FHLBs) integral role as intermediaries between capital markets and their members. Approximately 80% of U.S. lending institutions are members of an FHLBank.

Key areas:

• •Business Process Automation / Process Optimizations
• •Business Intelligence (Enterprise Data Warehouse, Financial Reports and Dashboards)
• •Accounting Systems Administration
• •Citizen Development – Bridging the Gap between Business and Information Technology

Qualifications:

• •Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree with concentration in accounting and/or information technology
• •Self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• •Team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Attentive listener who follows instructions
• •Academic or real-world experience in data science
• •Strong SQL and Excel skills
• •Knowledge of Power Platform desired
• •A written reference from faculty is appreciated though not required
• •Hours Per Week: 40
