the posting
We build mobile games played by hundreds of millions of people, and almost all of those players see ads. How those ads get priced, placed, integrated into the game, and balanced against the player experience is worth real money, and that's the problem you'll help us with.
As our Ad Monetization Engineering Intern, you'll work close to the revenue and close to the code. You'll get hands-on experience with our ad integrations and mediation stack, support the team in building operational automations, and learn how ads are served from the app's point of view. You'll work on real-world projects with guidance from the team, seeing the direct impact of your contributions.
- Main Responsibilities
- - Learn and assist with ad integrations: Get hands-on with how ads are integrated into our games, supporting the team with SDKs, mediation, and placements.
- Help build operational automations: Assist in creating reporting scripts, basic alerts, and data pipeline tasks to streamline daily operations.
- Explore serving logic: Support the team in reviewing app-side ad logic and contribute ideas or prototypes for optimization.
- Analyze performance metrics: Learn to monitor monetization performance (eCPM, fill rate, show rate, ARPDAU) and turn data into useful insights with guidance from senior engineers.
- Support A/B testing: Help run, monitor, and analyze A/B tests to validate new ideas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work alongside product, engineering, user acquisition, and data teams to understand how technical work supports business goal

- Experience building automations, data pipelines, or internal tools.
- Familiarity with BI/dashboard tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- A natural interest in mobile games and how free-to-play titles generate revenue.
