Required Degree :

Master’s degree required. A degree in second language teaching, Chinese language, and literature is preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

College-level experience teaching Chinese as a second language is preferred. Native speaker or superior-level language skills preferred.

Duties/Expectations:

Teach Chinese language courses at all levels (CHIN 101, 102, 201, 211, 202, 301, 302, 311, 411). Adjunct instructors are expected to follow the department-approved curriculum, hold weekly office hours, and attend occasional training meetings.
