- Position Title: Administration Officer
- Department: Career Development Centre (CDC)
- Reports To: CDC Coordinator
- Location: IBS University, Port Moresby
- Employment Type: Full-Time
1. POSITION PURPOSE
To provide effective administrative and operational support to the Career Development Centre and assist in delivering career development, employability, internship, placement, and graduate support services to IBS University students and graduates.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CDC.
Maintain accurate student, graduate, employer, internship, and placement records.
Assist students and graduates with career-related enquiries and services.
Support internship, work placement, and graduate employment activities.
Assist with coordinating career fairs, workshops, employer presentations, and other CDC events.
Maintain records of employers, job vacancies, internships, and industry engagements.
Assist with employer and industry communication and engagement.
Prepare correspondence, reports, registers, and other CDC documentation.
Assist with data collection, reporting, and graduate employment tracking.
Liaise with relevant University departments to support CDC activities.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with IBS University policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager – Career Development Centre.
3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Career Development, or a related field.
Previous experience in administration, student services, recruitment, HR, or a related area.
Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and excel.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
Previous experience in an education or career services environment is desirable.
