ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Global Deterrence & Defense Department (GX), Trusted Microelectronics Division (GXV), Business Operations Branch (GXVB) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).

Duties

• •You will serve as the critical link between strategic objectives and tactical execution, working closely with TPMs and Branch Managers to achieve project goals through comprehensive project management practices.
• •You will develop comprehensive project plans for TPM-delegated projects.
• •You will develop customer support agreements including sponsor quotes or cost estimates or both, task planning sheets (TPS), depot maintenance inter-service support agreements (DMISAs), and SOWs, as required.
• •You will execute projects in conjunction with Branch Managers, manage project schedules and timelines, and plan and control procurement activities.
• •You will identify requirements for personnel, facilities, and equipment, interface with Branch Managers for personnel resource allocation, and request project resources (financial and legal) under TPM oversight and Branch Manager concurrence.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical project resource requirements to develop, plan, execute and monitor project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.
