Admissions - Student Worker Counselor (NFWS)

Position Summary/Purpose:

The purpose of the Student worker counselor position is to support the growth, efforts, and goals of the Campus Initiative team (CI) team.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

• •Keep a clean CRM database
• •Calling prospective students and alumni
• •Communicate with students via outlook and texting system
• •Transferring prospective students to university counselors
• •Staying organized via excel and outlook

Equipment Used and Responsibility:

Equipment will be provided in the form of a computer and headset for soft phone.

Qualifications:

• •Experience calling inquiring students
• •Experience with CRM database systems
• •Ability to stay organized via outlook and CRM
• •Ability to build rapport with students inquiring
• •Coachability and adaptability

Experience/Education :

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

• •Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.·
• •Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.·
• •Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
