Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join a dynamic acute service in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 or Band 7 clinician with experience in acute adult settings to provide specialist assessment and intervention for adults presenting with communication and swallowing difficulties.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services within an acute hospital environment. Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have: • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent). • HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). • Previous experience working within adult acute Speech and Language Therapy services. • Experience managing adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. • Tracheostomy competency is desirable but not essential. • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and multidisciplinary working skills.
