Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2027 Semester (01/04/2027 - 04/23/2027)

Course: Advanced Biochemistry Lab

This hands-on laboratory course is designed to provide a project-based experience utilizing modern biochemical techniques. This course will reinforce proper experimental design and control and will provide students with experience with several biochemical techniques, including DNA, RNA, and protein extraction from tissue and its analysis. This course will reinforce troubleshooting, confounds to analysis, and application of various techniques to reach a target goal.

What You Will Do:

• •Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• •Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• •Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• •Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

• •Preferred: Doctorate or M.S. - Biochemistry, or in Chemistry or a Biological Science with emphasis in Biochemistry.
• •Minimum: Masters in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biochemistry, or in Chemistry or a Biological Science with emphasis in Biochemistry.
