Job Description:

• •Follows established policies, procedures, guidelines, medical protocols, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• •Completes patient care reports, billing reports, and other required documentation per established guidelines.
• •Performs assessments based on training and medical protocols to determine and apply treatment and transport methods.
• •Drives ambulance safely and defensively, obeying traffic rules and regulations.
• •Assists higher-trained personnel in providing effective care.
• •Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, bystanders, and other response agency personnel.
• •Supports community service and relationship functions as requested by leadership.
• •Maintains ambulance and medical equipment in a state of readiness. Communicates effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and other emergency responders.
• •Participates in ongoing training and professional development activities.
• •Adheres to confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding patient information.
• •Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls to provide care to ill and injured patients.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ year experience in the field [Preferred]

Additional Information:

Licensed in the state of practice [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) [Required] OR

EMT-Advanced (EMT-A) [Required]

Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required]

Driver's License (DL) [Required]

Pay Range:

$16.51 - $26.42
