Pan-American Life Insurance Group is seeking a bilingual Agency Operations Manager to join our U.S. Life & Health Insurance agency team in our Coral Gables, FL. office , where the team is based. This role will be key in overseeing the insurance agency operations, including case management, producer support and training, licensing and contracting, new and existing policy-service activities, premium processing, collections and producer events. The right candidate is fluent in English and Spanish , understands insurance operations, and can improve workflows while delivering responsive support to producers, policyholders, and internal partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead Case Management Processes for Life & Health : Run daily reports to identify policies with new requirements and do proper follow-up to complete the underwriting process; ensure all cases flow through the Underwriting Processes within the reasonable time.
- Policyholder & Agent Communication : Educates policyholders and agents regarding surrenders, loans, dividend payments, contract interpretation, and other options that are available. Assists in establishing business goals, including sales and profitability goals, in alignment with overall corporate strategies.
- Support Sales Team with Administrative Training for Producers: Lead Group or Personalized Producer Trainings Bi-Weekly or as needed, to educate on Application Submission and Case Management
- Create Efficient Tools/Handbooks : Create Step by step guidebooks/tools, videos, as needed to promote 'ease of doing business' with us for our producers in both Life and Health lines of businesses
- Oversee the Agency Licensing & Contracting Team: managing the team closely to ensure proper workflow of all carrier contracts, DOI Licensing, Weekly Reporting to VP Sales; Manage Team Needs.
- Lead Logistics & Coordination of Special Producer Events: Lead and coordinate agency producer events for both business lines, including but not limited to venue selection, budget management, best practices, and event attendance.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with additional experience of experience in office management, general operations, or direct life or health experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 3 years of related life and/or health insurance experience; open to strong operational management experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Ability to develop and mentor others; foster teamwork
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Organizational skills
