The Joey Wetoskey Agency is looking for an Agent in Training to join our team in Mason. We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, automotive, and other roles where communication and relationship building are important.

Insurance experience is not required. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. We’ll help you develop the rest.

What This Role Is All About

At its core, this is a relationship-driven sales position. You’ll talk with prospective and existing clients, learn what matters to them, and help them choose insurance coverage that fits their needs.

You’ll also develop real experience in sales, client management, and agency operations while learning from an established insurance team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Connecting with prospective customers through leads, referrals, networking, and outbound calls

Learning about each client's needs and recommending appropriate coverage

Providing quotes and explaining insurance options in a way that is easy to understand

Selling Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, and other insurance products

Following up with prospects and identifying new sales opportunities

Building relationships with existing clients through regular communication and policy reviews

Tracking leads, conversations, and follow-up activity using CRM tools

Working toward individual sales goals and contributing to agency growth

Have at least one year of sales, customer service, or other customer-facing experience

Feel comfortable starting conversations with new people

Are self-motivated and want to continue developing professionally

Are willing to obtain the insurance licensing required for the position
