AI Engineer

About the Role

We are a seed-stage AI productivity startup building a fast-moving engineering team, and we are looking for AI Engineers to own two core technical challenges: scaling backend infrastructure and optimizing LLM and AI agent flows that power the product. Your work will have a direct and immediate impact on platform performance and the experience of every user.

What You'll Do

Design and implement backend systems and services built to operate at scale.

Tune and iterate on LLM integrations and agent orchestration to improve reliability and efficiency.

Own outcomes end-to-end, from architectural decisions through to shipping production software.

What We're Looking For

Substantial hands-on track record of coding and shipping software in production environments.

Strong backend engineering experience designing and scaling distributed systems.

Hands-on experience optimizing LLMs and AI agent flows in production.

Experience working at a fast-growing startup, with the agency and ownership mindset that comes with it.

A portfolio of side projects that demonstrates technical depth and sustained curiosity.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $80,000 to $120,000 USD per year, plus equity. The salary and equity mix is negotiable, with additional flexibility for exceptionally senior candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available ; candidates must be eligible to work in Sweden.

This is a fully on-site role based in Stockholm, Sweden . Candidates must be willing and legally able to work on-site in Stockholm, including relocation if necessary.
