AI/LLM DELIVERY PROJECT MANAGER (ZOOLOGY/ BOTANY/MICROBIOLOGY)

• A fast-growing AI consultancy serving global life sciences and agritech clients, we deploy custom LLM and generative AI solutions to accelerate research in zoology, botany, and microbiology. Our remote teams build domain-specific prompt engineering frameworks, fine-tune foundation models on biological datasets, and deliver deployable AI modules for academic, pharma, and conservation use-cases — all while maintaining rigorous scientific accuracy and ethical guardrails.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of LLM/AI projects for life sciences clients — from scoping and data ingestion to deployment and user training.

Translate zoology/botany/microbiology research requirements into technical task breakdowns, timelines, and KPIs for cross-functional AI engineering teams.

Bridge domain experts (biologists, taxonomists, lab scientists) with NLP/AI engineers to ensure model outputs align with scientific rigor and field-specific terminology.

Manage prompt engineering workflows, RAG architecture design, and fine-tuning pipelines using domain-specific datasets (e.g., species databases, microbial genome annotations, plant morphology repositories).

Track model performance against scientific validation benchmarks, and drive continuous iteration based on expert feedback loops.

Own stakeholder communication — prepare demos, documentation, and impact reports for non-technical clients and scientific review boards.
