Production Castings, Inc. is seeking a dependable Aluminum Furnace Operator to join our Die Casting team at our Fenton, Missouri manufacturing facility.

Work four days a week, Monday through Thursday , and enjoy a 3-day weekend every week .

This position is responsible for maintaining proper furnace operations and supporting the handling and preparation of aluminum used throughout the die casting process. The Furnace Operator plays an important role in maintaining correct alloy temperatures, preventing casting defects, and keeping production running efficiently.

We're looking for someone who is safety-conscious, dependable, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to perform routine and repetitive tasks with limited supervision.

What You'll Do

• •Maintain breakdown furnaces and aluminum used in remelt furnaces, bull ladles, and rotary degassing equipment.
• •Monitor and maintain alloy temperatures within established control limits.
• •Properly clean furnaces to help prevent premature equipment failure and maintain efficient operation.
• •Perform required processing operations, including degassing, to help prevent defective product.
• •Monitor furnace conditions and identify potential equipment or process concerns.
• •Operate a forklift as required to support furnace and material-handling operations.
• •Follow established operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety practices.
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• •Communicate equipment, material, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• •Complete assigned duties with limited supervision.
