Essential capabilities

Manage and maintain Oracle databases across FAH EBS and OFSAA/FTP environments, including performance tuning, session management, and storage monitoring.

Execute and coordinate OS server patching cycles across all environments using central Jenkins

Applying database and application security patches

Handle EBS application deployments including app and tech deploy procedures

Manage security compliance and credential rotations across all AWS hosted FAH servers

Respond to infrastructure incidents including database connectivity issues, EBS issues, weblogic server failures and disk space alerts

Skills

Good written and Verbal Communications

Knowledge of oracle database administration (DataGuard, RMAN, RAC)

Knowledge of E-Business suite application (R12.2)

Strong Linux/Unix system administration (RHEL 8)

Understanding of AWS services (EC2, EFS, ACM, Route53, S3, VPC and so on)

Proficiency in writing shell scrips for automation

Good to have knowledge of infrastructure as Code using terraform for AWS resource management

Good to have knowledge of CI-CD pipelines including Jenkins

Experience

Previous experience in Oracle Database Administration in enterprise

Previous experience in Oracle E Business Suite Applications

Experience of working on Unix. Shell scripting will be an add on.

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure management

Qualification Requirements

IT graduate with strong infrastructure and database administration

Knowledge of banking IT security and compliance requirements
