Android Framework developer - Automotive Infotainment

Join a team developing next-generation Automotive Infotainment systems for global automotive customers. As an Automotive Infotainment Developer, you will work on Android Automotive platforms, contributing to AOSP Framework and Middleware development, system integration, and feature customization to deliver high-quality in-vehicle user experiences.

Your Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Android Automotive software components across the framework and middleware layers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform features, optimize system performance, and enable seamless connectivity and infotainment experiences.

In this role, you will:

• •Develop and customize AOSP Framework and Middleware components for Automotive Infotainment systems.
• •Design and implement Android Services, HAL modules, and platform-level features.
• •Develop software using C++ and Java for embedded Android environments.
• •Integrate and optimize system services across Android, Linux, and QNX platforms.
• •Work on connectivity and multimedia stacks including USB, Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Networking.
• •Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance, stability, and reliability. .

Your Profile

• •Strong hands-on experience in AOSP Framework and Middleware development.
• •Proficiency in C++ and Java programming.
• •Experience working on Android, Linux, or QNX platforms.
• •Strong understanding of Android HAL, Android Services, and Android Framework architecture.
• •Experience in embedded systems software development and integration.
• •Good knowledge of Android connectivity stacks including USB, Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Networking.
• •Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• •Experience in Automotive Infotainment (IVI) domain is highly preferred.
• •Familiarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) is an added advantage.
• •Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced development environment.
