What You'll Do
The Apartment Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight, monitoring, and upholding of LIHTC-funded affordable housing properties. This position is assigned to provide on-site services and management at Family Village Redmond (20 units) and Passage Point (44 units) . The purpose of the Apartment Manager role is to support residents in understanding and abiding by their lease expectations, while ensuring the property environment remains safe, well-maintained, and responsive to the needs of the residents. Responsibilities include the full scope of resident lease compliance, property standards, and landlord tenant adherence. Working under the direction of the Associate Director of Permanent Housing, the Apartment Manager ensures that all operational, financial, and property activities align with the YWCA’s mission to provide high-quality, affordable housing to income-eligible individuals and families.
This is a 100% on-site role that requires consistent, physical presence during scheduled office hours. Remote or hybrid work is not available due to resident-facing and property oversight responsibilities. The manager’s presence across the properties should be representative of the associated tenant needs at each location.
This position has a social justice component that requires critical thinking through the lens of racism and intersections with poverty. This position is required to participate in activities that support the organization’s mission, including participating in race and social justice trainings and attending Social Justice Accountability Team (SJAT) meetings. Knowing the core principles of anti-racism and grounding those principles in everyday work are required job skills and core values.
