Aquatic Activation Coordinator – Fixed Term

We are seeking enthusiastic Aquatic Activation Coordinator to undertake development and running of our Community focussed Aquatic Group Fitness classes. We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised, energetic and up beat individual to showcase their skills in providing our community the best possible aquatic experience.

As a part of our awesome aquatics team, you will be responsible for activating four of our aquatic facilities through coordinating the overall delivery of the Aquatic Group fitness Programme for a variety of ethnicities, abilities and age groups. You will assess, recruit, supervise and support a small team of Aqua Aerobics Instructors, plus deliver Aqua Aerobics classes as a relief cover when required.

You will be given the opportunity to complete a range of transferable qualifications, from aquatic operation-based training through to business operation pathways... plus you'll get to work with a great bunch of people who want to make a difference in the community.

To be successful in this position you must:

Hold a certificate in Aqua Aerobics or a Certificate in Fitness Level 3 or 4

Be experienced in Aqua Aerobics Instruction and the coordination of Group Activities

Demonstrate staff supervisory experience

Be an excellent communicator, with the ability to develop a rapport with all individuals

Be energetic, physically fit and friendly with a positive attitude

Previous experience in a similar role with a passion for Aquatic Fitness is desirable.
