AR Accountant Specialist

Job Description:

The AR Accountant is responsible for recording, verifying, and posting payments received into the accounting system. Ensures transactions are recorded timely and accurately with accordance to the internal accounting policies. The AR Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Daily/Weekly Responsibilities Include:

• •Assist with customer disputes by providing sufficient documentation to merchant services.
• •Review ACH/Credit Card chargebacks.
• •Process customer voids.
• •Address any Ad hoc requests or other projects assigned.

Monthly Responsibilities Include:

• •Assist with month-end and annual close.
• •Manage reconciliations of assigned accounts and ensure they are updated accurately.

Requirements:

• •Associates in accounting (Bachelor's preferred)
• •1-5 Years of experience in accounting
• •Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting functions
• •In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• •Self-motivated and highly driven personality
• •Keeps a positive mindset
• •Excellent work ethic
• •Maintain an extreme ownership mentality
• •Great communication skills
