Architect, Azure Cloud

Architect for Azure Cloud estate, collaborating with security, data, ITSM, privacy and legal to ensure our Azure environment is secure, stable and easy to operate and manage. Applies subject-matter expertise and guidance to advance IT cloud activities and leadership decision making.

How you’ll make an impact:

• •Lead implementation of robust cloud solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of New Product Development (NPD) while ensuring solutions architecture is in adherence to appropriate regulatory requirement
• •Lead the implementation end-to-end solutions using Cloud services and microservices (e.g., IoT and Container Services) and partner with key stakeholders (e.g., BU) to evaluate business needs
• •Implement IaC and establish DevOps pipelines for all Cloud Workloads
• •Develop configuration management/application deployment using tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, and/or Chef) for assigned software products
• •Partner with Cloud Ops and Security team in getting solution vetted before deployment
• •Perform software code review for products
• •Evaluate new IT technologies and build effective solutions for NPD
• •Other duties as assigned by Management

What you'll need (Required):

• •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management System)
• •A minimum of six years experience

What else we look for (Preferred):

• •Demonstrated experience with best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
• •Demonstrated experience with Azure Fabric, DataLake, and Blob Storage
• •Demonstrated experience on best practices for Azure account setup, governance, and architecture
• •Demonstrated technical project management skills
• •Experience with system engineering for combined hardware, software systems
• •Java, Python or other Object-Oriented Programming and troubleshooting skills
• •Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis
• •Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure
• •Familiarity with container and resource management technologies such as Kubernetes
• •Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
• •Extensive knowledge of Azure IaaS components like VMs, Virtual networks, Storage and PaaS components like App Service, Serverless computing, Storage
• •Extensive knowledge of Azure VPCs, Subnets, routing.
• •Extensive knowledge of Azure Compute, Storage, IoT, Developer Tools
• •Extensive knowledge of IaC toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Powershell etc.
• •Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles and ability to design automation pipelines for Cloud DevOps.
• •Good programming skills in two or more of these languages - Javascript, Python, C++, Java

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $126,000 to $178,000 (highly experienced).
