Assistant Facility Security Officer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistant Facility Security Officer based in the United States.

• This role supports the administration and coordination of industrial security programs and related federal security activities.
• You will help manage personnel security clearances, security documentation, training requirements, and compliance processes across multiple organizations and locations.
• The position works closely with Human Resources, Contracts, Proposal teams, company security officers, and federal agency representatives.
• You will provide guidance to employees, support security onboarding and debriefings, and help investigate and report security incidents.
• The role requires strong knowledge of DoD security requirements, NISPOM, personnel suitability processes, and applicable federal regulations.
• You will operate independently in a remote environment while managing security activities for a large distributed workforce.
• The position also offers an opportunity to grow into an FSO role supporting one or multiple organizations within the broader enterprise.
