About the role

Applications are invited from Assistants in Nursing with Hospital experience to join our dynamic team. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our OPMH patients.

These casual opportunities will be in our Older Persons Mental Health ward located at Macquarie Hospital in North Ryde. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.

About you

• •At least one year's relevant hospital experience, or a second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with at least one Clinical Placement and a desire to work in a OPMH ward.
• •Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• •Effective written and oral communication skills
• •Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
• •Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
