Job Description - Assistant Manager Facilities (Technical)

Department: Technical Operations / Facilities Management

Job Summary:

The Technical Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining all technical and facility systems that support seamless 24x7 operations. The role includes oversight of electrical, HVAC, and networking infrastructure (non-IT), vendor management, preventive maintenance planning, and ensuring zero downtime for business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Lead the technical and maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted operation of the facility round-the-clock.
• •Oversee electrical systems, UPS, PAC, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, BMS, LMS, and access control systems.
• •Monitor power and PAC critical for operations and server/network rooms.
• •Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• •Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with SLAs and safety standards.
• •Coordinate with builder teams for smooth operational support.
• •Track energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
• •Ensure timely statutory compliance (electrical safety, fire audits, etc.).
• •Maintain updated documentation, maintenance logs, and shift reports.
• •Handle breakdowns, emergencies, and escalate as required.
• •Prepare and manage annual maintenance and operational budgets.

Shift & Work Conditions:

• •Supervises a 24x7 operation with rotational shift teams.
• •Roll may demand presence at late-night, weekend or holiday.
