Position Summary

Manages the planning and operations of a terminal. Oversees various terminal functions, including pickup and delivery, dock operations, and general administration.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• •Directs and coordinates the activities of terminal employees to provide cost effective, timely, and quality service to customers.
• •Investigates customer complaints and resolves problems.
• •Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• •Coordinates staffing levels and work scheduling to maximize terminal productivity.
• •Oversees compliance with company policies and procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
• •Uses software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems.
• •Interviews, selects, and onboards terminal employees.
• •Facilitates good employee relations through motivation, feedback, and coaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• •5+ years of terminal operations experience.
• •Knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation management applications.
• •Ability to work flexible hours.

Salary Range: $95,500.00 - $119,800.00 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus eligible.
