Job Description

The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients’ investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

The Global Market Sales, CMB Salesperson to focus in the Treasury Sales coverage & advisory effort to Commercial Banking corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

Provide treasury advisory services to Commercial Banking (CMB) clients.

• •Manages client relationship and acquisition of new treasury corporate CMB clients
• •Dealing in investment solutions for CMB clients.
• •Trade execution for FX, Interest Rate, Bonds, Commodity and Equity-linked Products and Solutions
• •Follow through of the entire sales process - Sales, execution, preparation of term sheets and follow up on trade issues from Mid-office and Back-office
• •Works with the Commercial Banking bankers as well as UOB Branches in Singapore
• •Conducts treasury training classes for relationship managers
• •The ideal candidate has to be a highly driven individual and be able to work well independently.

Job Requirements (ie education, years of experience, other skillset etc)

• •Recognised university degree with at least 5 years’ experience in handling and servicing corporates
• •Provide customers’ advisory in FX, Interest Rate hedging solution as well as in Investment offerings.
• •Experience in acquisition of new Treasury corporate clients in partnership with Relationship bankers.
• •Strong analytical skills, meticulous and proactive
• •Able to work independently and is a team player
• •Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and external parties of all levels.
• •Completion of CMFAS and FMRP paper requirements preferred
