Associate Consultant

Primary Responsibilities:

Quality and Efficient Output Production:

Plan and execute projects with minimal direction, leveraging prior industry knowledge to address new project types.

Use Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and other tools to create customized, effective, and accurate deliverables for clients based on practice team input.

Leverage benchmark/survey information and business knowledge to identify meaningful trends, competitor insights, and recommendations for client engagements.

Analyze client organizational structures (e.g., sales/field teams) to standardize and compare roles across companies.

Utilize and improve automation tools to generate analyses more efficiently.

Participate in the design and implementation of customized benchmarking surveys using web-based tools.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify patterns, outliers, and statistically significant trends across client survey responses.

Translate complex data sets into clear visual narratives using dashboards, charts, and data tables that drive actionable client recommendations.

Ownership of Work:

Deliver work accurately and consistently within project timelines.

Demonstrate self-management skills while leveraging peer and manager experience.

Balance both detailed execution (“in the weeds”) and strategic insights as needed.

Communicate methods, results, and their implications clearly with minimal oversight.

Skills and Experience

Required

Bachelor’s degree

Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and refine outputs

Strong business writing, communication, and presentation skills

2–4 years of experience in analytical or operations roles

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Strong foundation in data analysis and statistics

Experience working with structured datasets to perform analysis, identify trends, and communicate findings in business-friendly formats.

Preferred

Exposure to competitor benchmarking or competitor insights analysis

Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (PowerBI, Power Query, automation tools)

Salesforce reporting and dashboarding experience

Experience in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry

Experience developing or following Standard Operating Procedures

Qualtrics or similar survey platform experience

Understanding of market research survey design concepts

Familiarity with data visualization principles and BI storytelling best practices
