Job Description

Position Summary

The Associate Director, Speaker Bureau Content & Execution, US Kidney will support development and execution of peer-to-peer educational content across the US Kidney franchise, with initial emphasis on AMKD. This role reports to the Director, Speaker Bureau and Content Lead, US Kidney and ensures the franchise has high-quality, strategically aligned content to support current and future educational initiatives.

The Associate Director will initially focus on content development, agency coordination, review/approval support, and executional pull-through for AMKD, with support for IgAN and POVE as needed. Over time, the role may expand to include speaker training logistics, speaker readiness, field enablement, and program execution.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development and Execution

Lead day-to-day development of peer-to-peer educational content across US Kidney franchise, with initial AMKD emphasis

Support development of speaker decks, training materials, discussion guides, FAQs, and field resources

Partner with agency teams to manage content timelines, drafts, revisions, and version control

Ensure content aligns with strategic narrative, educational objectives, and franchise priorities

Support preparation of materials for internal review, including references and supporting documentation

AMKD Content Buildout

Serve as executional lead for AMKD content development and establish content infrastructure for peer-to-peer education

Translate AMKD strategic priorities into clear content workstreams, timelines, and deliverables

• •Coordinate with stakeholders and agency partners to develop AMKD disease education and branded materials
• •Identify content gaps, update needs, and opportunities to strengthen the educational platform

Review, Approval, and Compliance Support

Support movement of materials through Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and other required reviews

Capture reviewer feedback, manage follow-ups, coordinate agency revisions, and ensure appropriate resolution

Maintain content trackers, review timelines, reference documentation, and approval status

Ensure materials comply with company policies and review requirements

Speaker Bureau and Cross-Functional Coordination

Support speaker bureau through content readiness, speaker materials, and training resource development

Develop speaker training materials, run-of-show documents, and speaker communications

Work closely with Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and agency partners

Manage agency deliverables, timelines, and executional follow-through

Maintain visibility through status updates, project trackers, and milestone planning

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Typically 7+ years in healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical marketing, speaker bureau, thought leader engagement, content development, or agency roles

Experience developing promotional, disease education, or peer-to-peer content in regulated environments

Experience managing agency partners, content review processes, and cross-functional workstreams

Preferred: Rare disease, nephrology, immunology, specialty medicine, or launch experience; speaker bureau or KOL engagement experience

Required Skills and Competencies

Strongly preferred: Kidney experience or speaker bureau experience, plus scientific terminal degree (PharmD, PhD)

Strong content development and project management skills

Ability to translate strategic direction into executable content workstreams

Strong agency management including timeline and deliverable tracking

Excellent attention to detail around references, content accuracy, and approval requirements

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and agencies

Comfort in fast-paced launch environments

Understanding of compliant content development in regulated biopharmaceutical settings

Travel Requirements

Ability to travel approximately 30% including weekends for speaker trainings, internal meetings, agency meetings, and select field or program activities.

Pay Range:

$162,800 - $244,200

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
