Associate FIX Analyst, Charles River Development, Officer

• Summary:
• Work as an Associate FIX Analyst for Algorithmic Interface Trading within our FIX Support Team. Main objectives of this position would be to streamline our algorithmic interface creation and certification timelines. This individual will also become a subject matter expert in algo interface integration and help advance our trading capabilities across all asset classes. Additionally, serve as a point of escalation to L1 Support team for algo related inquiries in production and help automate the algo deployment process.

Responsibilities:

This role would be primarily responsible for all algorithmic interface creation and certification testing across all asset classes including single-leg and multi-leg workflows.

Serve as a Level 2 Support person for our L1 FIX Network Support team who are not algorithmic SME’s.

This person will also work directly with CRD Product on identifying bugs, enhancements, and algo deployment automation, to ensure we deliver on our clients high expectations.

Coordinate with clients, internal Charles River colleagues, and network vendor(s) to facilitate the following service-related functions:

design, specification, and provisioning

testing and certification

go-live implementation/onboarding

on-going changes and enhancements

problem troubleshooting, support, and resolution

for straightforward situations, perform the aforementioned tasks

Follow departmental procedures to ensure timely, high quality delivery of service to Charles River Network clients

Ensure all Network Services database information and documentation is accurate and current

Requirements:

• •Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required
• •0-2 years of professional experience coding with Python or SQL or VBA. Java a plus.
• •Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• •Background in trading system applications is preferred
• •FIX experience preferred
• •Proven ability to work in a mission critical operations and support environment
• •Aptitude for technical troubleshooting
• •Excellent customer service skills; attention to detail; and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• •Ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service
• •Periodic off-hours support
• •Ability to work independently and within a team
