Making the Internet a Utility
Transforming Connectivity for Modern Business
Meter is seeking a AGC, Commercial to help realize its mission of making the internet as accessible and reliable as any other utility. Meter designs and manufactures networking hardware, manages ISPs, installs and operates networks, and is building toward fully autonomous network operations for businesses everywhere.
This founding legal role is central to Meter’s commercial operations. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Commercial Counsel will own the end-to-end commercial contracting process, structuring and closing the revenue-generating agreements that drive Meter’s growth. Responsibilities span drafting and negotiating enterprise sales agreements, SLAs, channel and partner contracts, real estate licenses for hardware installation, and supply chain agreements. The role also includes building the legal infrastructure—templates, playbooks, and contract lifecycle management—to streamline future deals as Meter expands.
The ideal candidate is a skilled dealmaker and pragmatic drafter, comfortable managing complex negotiations and collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, and Product teams. Experience includes a J.D. from a top law school, in-house regulatory work, and membership in good standing with at least one state bar. This is an opportunity to shape Meter’s commercial legal function from the ground up and play a key role in scaling a business redefining enterprise connectivity.
