Associate Industrial Engineer Job Description:

You will be an essential part of the growing Industrial Engineering team. This role will be based in the Primary DC locations (Phoenix, AZ, Irving, TX, Newark, NJ, Chicago, Il) HelloFresh distribution center and will be the subject matter expert on the processes within working cross-functionally to assist with process launches, initiate improvements and work towards standardization.

You will ...

Evaluate and improve operational costs surrounding staffing, units per hour (UPH), etc.

Re-engineer & design process flows, layouts, workstations, etc. using computer-aided software (CAD)

Use time studies to assist with process creation and labor standards; experience with MOST is a plus

Leverage statistical analysis to report on fulfillment KPIs

Create standard work and implement process improvement

Assist with operational and financial forecasting, staffing, productivities, capital expenditures, CapEx justifications, improvement analyses, etc.

Serve as a project manager liaison between Operations and Engineering

Create and use RCA techniques to reduce risks within respective process paths

Have a positive attitude towards challenges and will be able to learn new skills

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

You are...

Experienced with root cause analysis and using data to drive change.

Experienced supporting a multi-site environment working independently and in a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Google Suit, with a strong emphasis in Excel. SQL experience is desired.

Experienced in AutoCAD.

Are able to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines for deliverables.

Effective with oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Familiar with or experienced in fulfillment and distribution processes.

You have...

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or comparable discipline

Internship or co-op Industrial Engineering experience within an automated distribution/warehousing environment desired

$65,600 — $76,553 USD

Newark, NJ Pay Range

$75,200 — $87,733 USD

Arizona Pay Range

$65,600 — $76,553 USD

Illinois Pay Range

$70,400 — $82,133 USD
