Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the successful execution of Distributed Control System (DCS) projects by assisting Lead Engineers throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will contribute to engineering documentation, project coordination, procurement support, testing preparation, training activities, and site support while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures. Working closely with Lead Engineers, Project Managers, Field Service Engineers, suppliers, and customers, you will help deliver projects efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business Area, Energy Industries Division in Cheonan, South Korea. Main stakeholders are Lead Engineers, Project Managers, Field Service Engineers, Procurement Teams, Vendors, and Customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• •Supporting engineering documentation, project deliverables, and document control activities.
• •Assisting procurement, logistics, and material management, including supplier coordination and spare parts administration.
• •Providing project and site support, including testing, commissioning, field documentation, and equipment management.
• •Supporting training, demonstration systems, reporting, meeting and workshop coordination, and general project administration.
• •Providing administrative and operational support to the engineering organization, including records management, compliance activities, team coordination, and departmental planning.

Qualifications for the role

• •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Control, Computer, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• •Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage engineering documents, project records, multiple tasks, and priorities with high attention to detail.
• •Basic understanding of industrial automation systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, or related control system technologies.
• •Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and document management tools.
• •Experience using or willingness to learn engineering software, including AutoCAD, VMware environments, engineering workstations, and system backup tools.
• •Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional project teams.
• •Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.
• •Willingness to travel extensively and stay at customer sites for extended periods when required by project schedules. (>50%)
