As an Associate, Repair & Maintenance Engineering (Spare Parts Management), you will be tasked to oversee inventory control under our Engineering Department. You will work closely with various Engineering and production team to ensure smooth day to day operations for manufacturing plant.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• •Manage spare parts inventory using IBM Maximo Application Suite.Tracking of spares and consumables inventory min/max level and ordering to ensure availability to support operation
• •Follow up on parts delivery, GR and invoices
• •Plan and perform scheduled stock count to maintain inventory accuracy
• •Monitor stock levels, consumption rates, and inventory trends.Tracking of monthly spending in system
• •Maintain and sustain good housekeeping standards and practices
• •Compliance to quality and HSE requirements
• •Cost saving initiatives and continuous improvement plans i.e. Localization of parts and repairs, etc.
• •Generate inventory insights and recommend purchasing requirements.
• •Coordinate with maintenance teams and SMEs to understand spare parts needs.
• •Support spare parts identification, cataloging, and inventory optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• •Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field
• •3-5 years of relevant inventory control experience in manufacturing/ production setting
• •Experience in GMP setting and in using Maximo would be highly advantageous
• •Comfortable to work at Tuas south (company transport provided at Outram Park/ Kranji/ Boon Lay MRT)
