KBR is seeking motivated recent graduates and early-career engineers who are eager to begin a rewarding career in Naval Architecture and Structural Engineering as an Associate Structural Engineer . As part of our Integrated Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on the design and analysis of complex offshore structures and floating production systems.

This role offers hands-on experience with industry-leading engineering tools, exposure to innovative offshore projects, and a strong foundation for professional growth in the energy and marine industries. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• •Participating in design and analysis of the offshore floating production or drilling units, such as semisubmersibles and FPSO’s
• •Calculate wind and hydrodynamic loading for offshore floating structures
• •Define load conditions and check the stability
• •Strength, fatigue and buckling assessment of stiffened plating structures
• •Utilize DNV SESAM software suite to perform the structural and hydrodynamic analysis

Utilize FEA software to do structural analysis of offshore hull structures

Writing technical reports

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• •Graduated from an accredited college or university, with a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree in civil/ structural engineering, naval architect, or mechanical engineering with 0-5 years of experience;
• •Good academic standing as established by your college or university
• •Experience in design of offshore structures
