- Coordinate the management of adult and pediatric auditory and vestibular disorders. Diagnoses and treats the patient's hearing and balance problems, using advanced technology and procedures.
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
In an Audiologist career, you’ll experience:
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic testing and comprehensive audiologic evaluations.
- Counsel patients regarding hearing aids and provides hearing aid evaluations and fittings.
- Investigate and study the underlying causes, precipitating factors, and symptomatic behavior of impaired speech patterns.
- Monitor condition of equipment and calls appropriate repair/maintenance personnel when necessary.
- Evaluate hearing disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment.
- Evaluate psychological information to measure the impact of hearing loss on a patient.
- Conduct research related to the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.
- Attend meetings related to patient diagnostic evaluation, treatment and contributes to discussion as an interdisciplinary team member.
