How You’ll Make an Impact

Design and configure substation automation systems using MicroSCADA.

Develop communication architectures with IEC 61850, Modbus, and DNP3.

Create HMI screens and RTU logic for real-time monitoring and control.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities on-site and remotely.

Troubleshoot and optimize system performance for maximum reliability.

Engage with customers to refine designs and enhance system functionality.

• •Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in substation automation or industrial control systems.

Hands-on experience with MicroSCADA configuration and deployment.

Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 and related communication protocols.

Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for automation systems.

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
