Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD, and modern QA practices. The candidate should be capable of designing robust automation frameworks, identifying quality risks, mentoring team members, and integrating automated testing into the software delivery pipeline.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks .
• •Create and execute automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• •Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• •Perform API testing using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent.
• •Automate web applications using Playwright
• •Develop reusable automation components, utilities, and test data solutions.
• •Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• •Perform cross-browser and parallel test execution.
• •Investigate automation failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• •Participate in code reviews and follow automation coding standards.
• •Implement reporting, logging, screenshots, and failure diagnostics within automation frameworks.
• •Contribute to test strategy, automation architecture, and continuous improvement.
• •Mentor junior QA engineers.
• •Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Technical Skills

• •8+ years of experience in software testing, with strong automation experience.
• •Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C# .
• •Advanced experience with Playwright
• •Strong knowledge of API automation and REST services .
• •Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools .
• •Experience with Git and source-control best practices.
• •Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps .
• •Experience designing frameworks using Page Object Model, data-driven, keyword-driven, or BDD approaches .
• •Knowledge of Maven or equivalent build tools.
• •Understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, authentication, and web technologies.
• •Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.

Advanced / Preferred Skills

• •Experience with Playwright and JavaScript .
• •Basic knowledge of security testing concepts.
• •Experience testing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• •Knowledge of Kafka, queues, or asynchronous systems .
• •Exposure to AI-assisted test automation and modern QA tooling.

Framework Expectations

The candidate should be able to independently:

• •Design an automation framework from scratch.
• •Select appropriate automation tools and technologies.
• •Implement reusable page/API/service layers.
• •Manage test configuration and test data.
• •Implement parallel execution.
• •Integrate automation into CI/CD.
• •Generate actionable test reports.
• •Debug flaky tests and improve test stability.
• •Maintain automation code as the application evolves.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

8+ years of software testing experience, including substantial hands-on automation experience.
