Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and troubleshoot AWS-based environments, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor cloud resources, availability, and performance; recommend right-sizing, cost optimization, and reliability improvements.

Support data engineering workflows on AWS, assisting with data movement, processing, and operational stability of pipelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical tasks, and ensure timely delivery.

Maintain clear technical documentation including runbooks, incident reports, architecture notes, and operational procedures.

Assist with access management and security best practices, ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Participate in incident management, on-call/production support activities (as applicable), and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in a technical analyst, cloud support, or cloud operations role with hands-on AWS exposure.

Strong working knowledge of AWS / Amazon Web Services concepts and core services used in production environments.

Experience supporting data engineering or data platform activities (e.g., data pipelines, batch processing, data reliability).

Ability to analyze logs/metrics, troubleshoot issues systematically, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Education: BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC.

Technical requirements

Good to have skills:

IAM, CloudWatch, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, DEVOPS

Additional responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with AWS data services and pipeline orchestration in collaboration with data engineering teams.

Familiarity with infrastructure and operational best practices such as automation, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Exposure to designing or reviewing cloud architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

Proven ability to document and standardize operational procedures to improve support quality and reduce recurring issues.

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, analytics, and business teams in a fast-paced environment.
