As an AWS Senior Associate you will support the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions within our Technology Consulting practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex challenges, manage assigned workstreams, guide junior team members, and build meaningful client connections while using AWS, server, network, and cloud skills to support infrastructure engineering efforts. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to deployment activities, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and help translate client requirements into practical technology solutions.
You will be part of a role that calls for problem-solving, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate changing priorities while maintaining professional and technical standards. In this role at PwC, you will collaborate across teams, interpret feedback, and develop a deeper understanding of the business context behind each engagement as you grow your personal brand and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- - Designing and implementing AWS infrastructure solutions for client environments
- - Managing cloud migration workstreams and aligning technical activities to project timelines
- - Configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments
- - Administering identity and access management, server operating systems, and core platform services
- - Monitoring infrastructure performance and troubleshooting server, network, and storage issues
- - Applying DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous deployment methods to support releases
- - Evaluating cloud architectures for reliability, continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resiliency
- - Interpreting technical requirements and translating them into scalable infrastructure designs
- - Reviewing deliverables from junior team members and providing guidance on assigned tasks
- - Building client relationships and communicating progress, risks, and technical considerations clearly
What You Must Have
- - At least a Bachelor's degree
- - At least 4 years of experience
- - Oral and written proficiency in English required
- 3-5 years designing and operating AWS infrastructure, including time in a client-facing or consulting delivery role
- Production-grade Terraform: module design, remote state, workspaces, drift management
- Demonstrated AWS multi-account landing zone and enterprise networking design experience
- Migration delivery using AWS-native tooling (AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Database - Migration Service, AWS DataSync, AWS Migration Hub)
- Database experience at a working engineer level: strong SQL, relational database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle), and migration of databases to managed services such as Amazon RDS or Amazon Aurora
- Container platform operations: Docker plus Kubernetes or an equivalent orchestrator, with Amazon EKS or Amazon ECS experience preferred
- Applied use of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Cloud Adoption Framework on client environments
- AI-assisted engineering in practice: using tools such as Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Kiro, Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex for IaC, scripting, and runbook authoring, with review and testing of generated output
