Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is seeking a junior-level Azure Engineer (US Citizenship required). This a newly-awarded contract, so the selected candidate must be a self-starter who is eager to quickly integrate with a high-performing team responsible for accrediting and implementing a new digital evidence platform for our Federal Government client. This is a full-time position that can be performed remotely with occasional travel to Washington DC as needed.

What you will be doing

Assist in building and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Support cloud governance, security configurations, and operational best practices.

Help troubleshoot and resolve basic cloud infrastructure issues across Azure networking, compute, identity, storage, and container services.

Participate in team design sessions and contribute to solution architecture discussions.

Maintain documentation for infrastructure components, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Learn and apply Azure platform updates, IaC best practices, and automation standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and assist with implementing cloud solutions.
